Please read my T&Cs before buying, thanks. NB: New regs in the EU (as of 13 june '14) mean that patterns aren't refundable after download. HOWEVER if you're unhappy in any way with your pattern I can still offer a refund / replacement. 

You do not have to be registered with Ravelry to buy my patterns from this site, although it uses the Ravelry cart facility.

ARIANRHOD (Skill level 3/5)

Arianrhod (pronounced: ar-ree-AN-rod) means 'Silver Wheel' in Welsh. It is a circular shawl inspired
by themes associated with her in Celtic Myth and is in 3 sizes with a choice of 2 edgings (knitted sideways onto shawl so there is little finishing). Using lace weight to fingering, it is suitable for the intermediate knitter.
Diameter approx: small 48'' / 122cm, 1200 - 1300 yd / 1097 - 1189 m; medium 51'' / 130 cm, 1350 - 1400 yd / 1234 - 1280 m; large 57'' / 145 cm, 1680 - 1700 yd / 1536 - 155 m.

BARK     (Skill level 2 / 5 )  



Bark is a top down shawl in two sizes using fingering weight yarn. It’s worked in a simple but interesting slip-st pattern, making it quick to knit (no purl sts) and cosy to wear, creating the perfect textured shawl for cooler weather. It is easily customisable, with instructions both for enlarging it and working a striped version. 

Medium approx. 437 yd / 400m - 460 yd / 421 m. 
Size approx. 58''/ 147 cm x 26''/ 66 cm

Large: approx 720 yd / 660m. 
Size approx. 63''/ 160 cm x 27.5''/ 70 cm

BLODEUWEDD  (Skill level 3 / 5)


Inspired by tales from Celtic mythology, Blodeuwedd - pronounced blod-EYE-weth (the “eye” like your eyes; the “th” like in “the”), means 'flower face' in welsh.

A three quarter circular shawl worked from the top down with plenty to drape around you. The flower pattern is divided by cabled panels which are echoed in the cabled edges.

It is worked in fingering weight and uses approx. 840 - 940 yd / 768 - 860 m. 
Size approx. 69 '' / 175 cm along top edge x depth: approx. 29'' / 74 cm.

BLUEBELLS  (Skill level 2.5 - 3 / 5)


Bluebells is a crescent shaped shawlette with a border of flower bells. Worked from the bottom up starting with a textured border, it's followed with short rows to form the shaping. It’s a perfect size for between season wear, when a little extra warmth is still needed.

It is worked in fingering weight and uses approx. 415 - 460 yd / 379 - 421 m. 
Size approx. approx. 48'' / 122 cm along top edge x depth: approx. 17'' / 43 cm.

FALLEN LEAVES (Skill level 3 / 5)

A sideways knit, triangular scarf or shawl in two depths worked in one piece with an i-cord edging. The leaf patterned lace border is easy, with purling on WS rows. It is easily customisable for size and available yarn amounts and thickness. 

Shallow (deeper) versions:
In sports weight yarn, approx 550 yd / 503 m (740 yd / 677 m)

Sizes: approx. 72'' / 183 cm ( 88'' / 224 cm) x 16''/ 41cm (24'' / 61cm)

LICHEN & MOSS SHAWL  (Skill level 2 / 5)
                                                                           
Lichen & Moss is a highly textured, top down triangular shawl in 2 sizes. It is a versatile shawl that can be worked in a variety of yarns from fingering through to worsted weight. It makes an interesting, yet not difficult knit for the advanced beginner.

Medium in fingering weight 400 - 425 (366 - 389 m).
Size approx. 46'' / 117 cm x 20'' / 51cm. 

Large in fingering weight 840 - 870 yd (768 - 796 m). 
Size approx. 63'' / 160 cm x 26'' / 66 cm.

                                                                                                        RHIANNON SHAWL  (Skill  level 3/5)


Rhiannon was inspired by Celtic tracery, the grid work on gates & horse shoes. This is a top down triangular shawl in two sizes (the large with a lace border) which makes a cosy wrap in either fingering or heavy lace weight / 3ply. The variety of patterns create an interesting knit for the intermediate knitter. 

Medium in heavy lace weight - fingering: 530 - 550 yd / 485 m - 503 m
Size approx. 47'' - 50'' / 119 - 127 cm x 21'' - 22'' / 53 - 56 cm
Large in heavy lace weight (fingering): 735 yd / 672 m (885 yd / 809 m)
Size approx. heavy lace (fingering): 56'' / 142 cm x 26'' / 66 cm (63'' / 160 cm x 30'' / 76 cm)

SNOWFLAKES & ICICLES (Skill level 2.5 – 3 / 5)


An elongated shawlette with a simple pattern of snowflakes and icicles with optional beading in the border. Worked top down in two sizes (the medium size having a deeper border) with an easily memorised lace pattern that would suit an adventurous beginner or intermediate knitter. Beading instructions for those new to this. 
Small size in fingering weight approx 380 yd / 348 m - 400 yd / 366 m, 59''/ 150 cm x 17''/ 43 cm. Medium size in fingering weight approx 500 yd / 457 m - 520 yd / 476 m, 69''/ 175 cm x 24'' / 61 cm.

WOOD ANEMONE (Skill level 3 / 5)                                                                         

A sideways knit shawl using two colours of fingering weight. The size can easily be adjust for different quantities of yarn and there are endless possibilities for colour combinations. A fairly easy knit for the intermediate knitter, with just a little concentration needed when making the ‘flowers’.
Fingering weight, approx. 550 yd (503 m): 437 - 450 yd MC, 100 - 110 yd CC. Size: approx 48'' - 59'' / 122 - 150 cm (depending on blocking) x 17'' / 43 cm. 
The size is easily adjusted (instructions given) for different sizes and amounts of yarn.

WILD  ORCHID  (skill level 3 / 5)

A sideways knit shawl or shawlette in 4 versions shallow crescent, deeper triangular, asymmetrical 2 depths. There is lace patterning on wrong siderows and so would be suitable for the intermediate knitter who has worked lace before. Size adjustable according to weight of yarn & number of repeats. Fingering weight or 3ply 340 - 835 yds / 311 - 764 m. Size: shallow 18 rpts: 48.5'' / 123 cm x 14'' / 35.5 cm. Other sizes see Ravelry pattern page.
